How did you get so deep into bird dogs and what really like what made you want to get your first dog? I know you kind of touched on it a little bit when you told us about yourself, but how did you get so deep into it?

Man, I was in grad school at the time, and my advisor, my – Graduate school advisor was having a litter with an old student of his of short hairs.

And and there was a pup available.

And I remember being in the lab looking under a microscope at parasites working on my thesis.

And he's like, oh, I got these pups coming.

And I was like, I've always been interested in having a having a bird dog.

You know, I grew up just foot hunting for grouse and things like that around around where I live.

Yeah.
