We're thinking of cream overlays on kind of beige or chocolate brown,
35:49
rattan and velvets.
35:50
There's a lot of textures.
35:51
It's text, wool and all that.
35:53
It's the wood against the fabric.
35:55
So it kind of stands out even more.
35:56
And then like sheepskin, wool blankets.
39:10
of course
33:58
So tell
33:58
me what that will look like.
34:00
What's in it? Why? I like this trend because I feel like you can adapt it to your house.
34:03
Like, obviously, if you're creating a new house, you can create a whole zone, you can have a bar.
34:07
But if you're, you know, for an existing home, it could be as simple as putting a tablecloth, like a green one, like a poker table or a velvet one, whatever colour you like, or red, on top of a table, getting some chairs, like sprucing it up, getting mahjong, I'm trying to say it right, mahjong, like getting games like that, which is a four, like it's kind of like a tile game, I suppose.
34:26
Just like loads of poker games.
34:27
You can get cards.
36:38
And that's ideal for that.
37:30
when
37:30
for me it's such a treat everyone has their things they love but like white bedding you know it's just such a treat for me so keeping it really simple and having you do you ever notice in hotels I just came back from Lanzarote and they had very long pillows I was like these are like unrealistic you know like even from a design point of view they're unbelievable and it's just those little touches like longer pillows.
37:49
Thread count? Oh I'd say like the highest quality.
37:52
The best you can afford the whole Egyptian.
37:53
I was It's like, don't touch the sheets, Freya, but like these simple things like that.
37:57
And then obviously having throws on top of it and then having the top sheet.
38:01
And it's just, it's all immaculate.
39:21
a day to day okay now that quiet luxury as you call it comes from to me two things maybe I'm wrong but the first is neutrals absolutely and the second is texture
40:32
How does the colour palette help in that regard?
40:38
I think for me it's what I'm seeing anyway and what I like is they're kind of opposites I'm sure you agree is it's very light or dark so I always find the gyms with that are very high intensity or hot yogas are always dark for some reason maybe it's just the science behind it with like certain specific um like task lighting because obviously you're doing like weights you have to be careful but And then I think the kind of more natural meditative rooms are just like you say, earthy and lighter rooms.
41:03
And I think that would be it.
41:04
I don't think there's a lot of colour in these rooms, probably because you'd be overstimulated.
41:07
I mean, you can bring in colour in blankets and things, but I actually like the idea.
41:11
I know it's really tricky to keep clean of very vanilla, like creams and like very natural, like in a relaxing room.
41:18
I don't know, there's something about it.
42:31
You can just look up these
0:57
But where do you start when you're thinking about changing your kitchen, Natasha? What do I need to do? I
1:02
would say, because obviously it's so personal to start with mood boards or a concept, like what do you like? You know, get a Pinterest mood board up or look at Instagram and things like that.
1:10
And then I would definitely say either speak with an interior designer or interior specialist on this or kitchen specialist, because it's one of those things that's worth its weight in gold.
1:18
They have like the kind of program that you need to work it out and the investment in them, whether it's a consultation or not.
1:25
And usually it's offset if you work with like a company.
1:28
Some big companies would like have an in-house person.
1:31
But, you know, they'll just save you the back and forth.

Moved several times and this advice is above, yeah, absolutely would recommend Peninsula above the island.
