I truly believed, as I think we all fundamentally believe, that food is necessary for life and eating food being nourished is what keeps the human body alive and so when especially at the beginning when i wasn't able to swallow anything And it was in this process of diagnosis where we didn't know it was wrong yet.

And so you'd go to the hospital and they'd just send you back after pumping you full of fluids.

And so I was in this, it was a month-long period of true starvation.

And the only sustenance I got was the IV fluids I got from the hospital.
