Start out with three or four and then we go back the next week and there was seven or eight and they had kind of forged their permission slips and written mom where the name of the mom needed to be.

But fortunately, we had good school partners who knew that the kids were going somewhere that was beneficial to them.

And we worked out with them how to do things properly, but the ministry looks the same today as it did 20 years ago in our basement.

We modeled what we do each day after what we wanted to provide for our son TJ to grow into a great husband and spiritual leader of his home one day.

The athletics is kind of just a tool for us.

It's a bait to draw kids in and to be able to help them to have a disciplinary tool and structure.

And it's still tough down there, but it's getting there.
