Ray TempestaHOST
I mean, y- you've mentioned, um, y- your sort of mutual love of composition, but was, was musical theater always kind of in your, in, in your vision, your, your plans for the future?

Nat RichesGUEST
So actually for me, I had a bit of an interesting journey into musical theater where kind of when I was quite a bit younger, I wasn't the biggest fan.

Nat RichesGUEST
I hadn't been exposed to a huge amount of musical theater, so I was just- Not kind of aware of what it entailed really.

Nat RichesGUEST
And I was massively into sort of songwriting and composition, and I was massively into writing separately.

Nat RichesGUEST
It was actually Natasha who kind of introduced me to the way that these can be combined within musical theater.

Nat RichesGUEST
She sent me kind of links to listen to the soundtracks for things like Hamilton and Waitress, and that was kind of a gateway to just completely falling into musical theater head first, 'cause obviously it combined these two things that I love so much.
