They're so valuable, and I think that probably maybe I would say you can get into a space where once you're doing consistent kind of paid road work, um, you can see open mics as, "Eh, I don't need them.

I'll just throw these new things, like, kind of in the middle or towards the end." But honestly, I've come to, like, newly appreciate them again because, to Alan's point, you really do get to go up there and try something brand new conceptually.

You haven't shared it with anybody.

It's maybe in your notebook.

And you're gonna flub, but you're gonna learn kind of how to, like, maybe restate it or you're gonna try to find the funny.

So I think it's valuable for just the essence of practice, right? Like, whatever, whatever your passion is, whatever your sport is, whatever it is that you're pursuing, you've got to practice that somewhere, and I think there's so much value in that.
