So just briefly, what was that like losing everything? And then tell us about the shift where you started to regain your power in some sort of sense.

so uh many years ago i um i had started a tech company and i was i'd raised money for it i ran out of money and then i started putting my credit cards into it my savings into it into the company without telling my ex-wife and i started putting all this money and i took out loans against some of the real estate that we own and i ran out of money again and then i was going to find myself to be homeless and i thought because my ego was so wrapped up in the identity.

I said, you know, I'm going to commit suicide so that my son doesn't have to be homeless, you know, and in that moment, you know, I realized someone, I heard someone saying that suicide, um, Oh, my God, I can't remember now the quote, but doesn't matter.

So but I got, you know, a few days later, I got that on my knees and I said, God, if there's a God, show me a different way because my way is not working.

And in that moment, I my I went to this gratitude, gratitude process that a friend of mine had given me.

And I started doing this gratitude work like my life depended on it because it did it.

And in doing the gratitude work, three weeks into it, I met John McAfee from McAfee Antivirus, and he agreed to become my partner.
