But can you tell us why communication and interpersonal skills are so important when leading teams under pressure?

Well, in all the times I've led different companies, what I find to be most interesting is what is not said.

And fear shows up in many ways.

When somebody fears something, it could show up that they're angry.

But anger is just a derivative of fear.

They're fearing something.

If somebody is looking kind of sad, worried, that's another extension of fear.
