We've actually seen reductions in nicotine use.

of 71% from 2016, especially because we really track vaping of nicotine.

We also track cigarettes, but vaping is more the trend and vaping was not tracked in 2014.

But from 2016 to our most recent survey in 2025, which is the data that we're sharing right now, we saw a 71% decrease among ninth graders.
