Because when people are just coming into transition, transitioning into a new season, sometimes they need to be encouraged.

That's right.

Yeah.

So she was encouraging Jesus into this new miracle season.

And he said, "What have I to do with thee? Mine hour is not yet come." I love the next phrase.

His mother said unto the servants.

Father, we're so grateful- Hallelujah ... to be able to call you Father today.

Yes.

For His works, there you see it, the last three lines.

Yeah, you're not the carrier of your opposition.

Put on Christ every day because if you don't, you'll end up wearing the wrong thing.

So he saw their face, but he saw their faith.

And he said unto the sick of the palsy, Son, be of good cheer, thy sins be forgiven thee.

And behold, certain of the scribes said within themselves, This man blasphemeth.

And Jesus, knowing their thoughts, said, Wherefore think ye evil in your hearts? Look at this.

That may be describing you.

But right thinking is God's open door.

And so He guides us into all truth, "For he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak." And I love this phrase, "He will show you things to come." Verse, that's verse 13.

Verse 14, "He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine," read the next, "and he'll show it unto you." Verse 15, "All things that the Father hath are mine: therefore I said, therefore said I, that he shall take of mine and will show it unto you." Brother Copeland-

It started on Wednesday, so it is in the book.

He pastored for eight and a half years before he went full time into the traveling ministry.

And they had, um, God had told him, you know, that He had a building for them.

They got this building, and the agreement he had, he did a lease option with...

He leased it for a year with the option that he would pay $126,000 at the end of a year to pick up the purchase on it, to pick up the option to purchase it.

Now, back then, this was the '70s, the building was $500,000 total, purchase price.

Well, during that year that my husband had it for his congregation, there was an escalation in property out there.

Yes.

Yes, it is.

And that's what you were saying.

It's not only my safe place, it's my wealthy place.

And, um, I was a piano performance major in college at ORU.

And, uh, so I started in fifth grade.

And Brother Copeland, um, I, I attended a denominational church, grew up in church, and one day the choir director came to my mother.

And you know, we just have a handful of people in the church, maybe, you know, 30 people or so.

And he said, "Carolyn," he said, uh...

I was in eighth grade at the time.

[laughs] That's right.
