So this drone technology is really exciting because you can recreate the landscape.

It's something called structure from motion, which creates a 3D model of an area.

So what happens is the drone flies over and takes thousands and thousands of photographs that are overlapping.

And so you can create these 3D models.

I mean this is completely beyond me all of this and I know you've described it to me several times before and I've never understood really what it entails to get the data out of the drone and to create all these unbelievably complicated algorithms that make sense I mean and you you have to do this on a supercomputer I mean I you know came to Cambridge to spend a few days with you when I was I was writing my book on stalks and there you were underground in a kind of bunker with a massive computer crunching these numbers and What were you doing?
