Why did you want to tell the story of midwives in this way?

Um, well, it's sort of a, a twofold reason.

I had both my babies at home with midwives.

Um, and one w- was a...

I went into premature labor, and it was stopped, um, by myself and a midwife together.

We worked together to keep the premature labor and have the baby at term, and it wo- it worked out beautifully.

And so I just felt that midwives, the empowerment and the, um, nurturing, uh, loving experience that I had, uh, bordering on spiritual and, um, respectful-
