And I guess the hook would be, what if you created an AI best friend and she knew all your secrets and would kill to keep you to herself? And so, This is a Lie is about Penn, who was studying to get her PhD in computer sciences.

She becomes pregnant.

She leaves her studies and marries the father of her daughter.

And she lives this perfectly curated or seemingly perfectly curated life in San Francisco.

But when she discovers that her husband, best friends, and even her daughter have betrayed her, Penn's world is completely shattered.

There's that pressure as well.

So tell us about This is a Lie.

First, I want to say that Constance is one of my favorite novels.

And so having him blurb this book was, you know, you don't get a lot of validation when you're sitting by yourself writing your novel.

And then when you go out for blurbs and someone like Fitz comes back and writes that, it was...

It was huge.

Yeah, it was huge for me.
