What is your take on that?

So apart from performances, we do a lot of educational work as well.

And part of that is training and developing young people and training them to become performers.

professional performers and choreographers.

So we also create opportunities for people with and without disabilities to train and develop these skills and create work and gain experiences into the professional world of dance.

So a lot of our programs that we do include training, outreach opportunities for young people, to also work alongside professional artists.

And we work a lot in schools as well.

How important are partnerships with theatres, government, corporates and other cultural organisations for you in making Unmute more accessible?

Wow.

And training.

And we also have quite an extensive education program whereby we work with schools, both mainstream and special needs.

So we have facilitators weekly going into schools, teaching dance in different schools, both mainstream and special needs.

And we have a few of those schools coming to us on a weekly basis as well.

And they get to spend time in our studio with us.

And just introducing them to dance and preparing them for the industry and for professional dancing as well.
