Yes.

You know, the other challenge with anti-VEGFs is because these are medications that we inject every month, every couple of months or so, there are peaks of the medication, at which point the medication is effective.

And then over time, the amount of medication decreases.

becomes lesser and lesser and lesser so there's a trough of the medication before you inject again and accordingly disease control follows that same pattern when there's peak of medication the disease is very well controlled when the medication is nearing its trough you might have fluid creeping back into the eye and so that fluctuating fluid in the eye has been known to be associated over the long term even with patients who are relatively compliant with vision loss.

And that's one of the reasons that the field itself has really been pursuing something with sustained delivery that can provide what we call a steady state of the drug, zero or first order kinetics with a very steady state of the medication so that you don't get that peak and trough of disease activity that over the long term correlates with worse visual acuity.

Doing injections every month or

every couple of months is a huge lift for many of our patients who have wet macular degeneration.

Keep in mind that these are elderly patients over 60 years of age generally.
