Tell me, that's a real brief, you know, kind of how he came to be and what kind of drove you throughout your entrepreneurial life and what sparked it and all that fun stuff.

Yeah, so I grew up in southeastern Ohio, a little town called Centerville, which is part of Dayton, Ohio.

And when I was a junior in high school, I had a friend whose dad worked in the hunting and fishing business, and I was passionate about hunting and fishing.

So this guy, as a junior in high school, kind of became a pseudo-mentor for me early on and just gave me a lot of really great guidance over the next few years.

And And, you know, studied business in college, knew I wanted to do some, actually worked for Prudential Insurance while I was in college and won all these awards.

And the day they were going to give me this award to go to Hawaii for a trip with the chairman, I resigned.

And because I had been calling a sales manager for 14 months every Tuesday at 10 a.m. saying, are you hiring yet for this distributor? So that that began the process of, you know, kind of following passion, did that for a few years and then had the opportunity, got hired by a guy who became one of my entrepreneurial mentors who fundamentally built modern day sporting goods distribution.

uh and i got trained to think well maybe it's me i don't think it's a bad thing at all but my wife was helping me um balance that out because i would do nothing but be hard on myself you know not not take into consideration that maybe the other person might you know and eventually because usually when your gut tells you that you're not really wrong about something or you maybe you're that's probably a little bit of a shared responsibility of whatever the issue is um i would own the whole thing yeah you know what i mean and she was the one who said no you need to look at the entire picture and sometimes it's just not you and then you find out later that you get validated you know yeah but i mean that's something i've always done is look at the mirror
