So I've loved your openness about it online, but I kinda wanna, like, go back into what brought you to this decision in the first place, and being so open about it.

Yeah, I mean, you, you nailed it.

I didn't even realize there was a bit of a stigma around freezing your eggs, but specifically freezing your eggs at, at my age.

We're seeing more and more women who are in their late 20s and early 30s, and you're hearing from doctors, "This is the right age to freeze your eggs," and so we're seeing that conversation start, which is great.

But I wasn't seeing a lot of people talk about freezing their eggs at my age.

Because as I've learned, which I did not know before, before the age of 39, I didn't really know a whole lot about age and reproduction and fertility and how much age can affect, which is wild.

I didn't know how much it can affect kinda the quality of your eggs, right? So, um, yeah, I didn't really know too many people my age doing it.

Yeah, why?

Okay, so what was the wake up call? When they drop knowledge on you, what was that knowledge and how did you feel walking out of that meeting?

Okay, so I go in and first you have to get tested for your AMH levels.

You have to get blood work, your ultrasound.

They want to check your uterus, your follicles count.

She goes, you're looking pretty good for your age.

I'm like, great, feeling good, right? And then she says, so egg quality and egg quantity difference.

changes after 35 and drastically declines after 40, 41 if you're lucky.

Initially, were people judgy?
