Like, what made this, Michigan the choice?

Um, so I did have a bunch of offers from everywhere pretty much when I was in the portal.

My coach, Rasheed, I...

When I entered the portal, I fired my agents that I had at first and I was just working with Rasheed and then Roshown Russell to let them help me talk to the college coaches.

And the thing that stuck out most about Michigan is, like, Dusty, when I talked to Dusty, they didn't mention money until like the third or fourth phone call.

Like, we was just always talking about the plan, getting to the league, winning a national championship, and how they gonna help me develop.

Um, so yeah, I thought it was unique.

Mm.

Um-

Um-I'm very confident in my jumper.

I've been working on it all summer.

Um, paying attention to details.

Um, charting it, charting my misses and my makes.

Um, yeah, just been working on it.

What's, uh, what's Kyrie's leadership meant to this team so far out in LA or what you've seen so far?

Um, it means a lot to me, especially 'cause like that's one of the guys I grew up watching.

Was it hard to make the decision to leave Michigan and enter the NBA draft?

Was it hard? Um, I don't think it was hard.

Um, I think everyone kind of knew a little bit on the inside, like coaches and stuff like that.

Dusty didn't pressure me into coming back.

Dusty and the whole staff was just like, "Take your time.

We're here.

We're here every, um...

Who else in that range, seven, eight, nine, ten, 11, who else was showing real interest in you?
