Yeah, so I was writing these hardcore songs around 1992, I suppose, and really thinking about bad religion, how could hell be any worse? that record, that record is like a hardcore classic.

It's the best.

And I, for some reason got ahold of like a cassette of it.

And so I was listening to it on the bus like a lot.

And then I started writing like hardcore songs that sounded that were inspired by kind of like what Tom and I went to these, these, you know, KSOL or whatever shows in, in, in LA.

And, and so I had written these songs and, and as, Tom said our friend Ioni was with Adam Horowitz and the Beastie Boys, and we became friends with them when they were out here and actually hung out with them and went to the park and did all that stuff.

So it's great to look back on that and be like, hey, I got through it, you know?
