Uh, sometimes different times a year.

We always have a theme, and one of the things we're really blessed with in Nebraska is we have some incredible coaches, some incredible leaders, some, some people that really have built cultures.

And we try to get people that, uh, uh, really believe in our cause and have been really helpful for our cause, but, uh, also some people that, uh, really we can learn a lot from from a leadership standpoint.

So that's wh- And we're really excited to get, uh, all three of those, uh, leaders.

They'll, they'll do a little panel quest- Q&A and, and have a chance for our friend Gary Sharp to, uh, talk to them just a little bit.

But the big thing we do is, uh, we're trying to share our mission, uh, helping current former student athletes from all Nebraska colleges, uh, with medical and financial needs.

How important has that been in terms of just the impact you've seen the foundation make in some of these guys' lives?

Well, you're exactly right.

Healthcare issues, not to get political because we are a political organization, but healthcare issues are a concern and paying bills and insurance costs and all these types of things that really affect a lot of different people.

And a great example is we have, I could go through the list, we actually have so many recipients, over 77 different recipients over the course of a 14-year history.

And those recipients, what we're seeing now is a lot of those in 60s, 70s, 80s, to your point, a lot of those issues that go on take long-term care and cost a lot of money.

And so that's kind of what I've seen through the organization where, you know, probably three years ago before I became involved more in day-to-day operations, we were really, we were really pretty good at raising some money and, but we needed to find recipients because athletes are very prideful.

They don't want to admit that they need help.

What do you have to tell us about Nebraska Greats, Monty, here?

I appreciate you guys letting me talk about this.

No, we appreciate it.

Nebraska Greats Foundation, who's been around since 2014.

Basically, it's so simple.

We raise money and we give it away to former current athletes who need medical help, who are in some financial need.

We do everything from... cancer treatments to travel to hospice beds to wheelchairs to whatever else we raise money we give it away since 2014 we've given away 119 grants to the tune of about a little over 1.9 million dollars over that period of time 77 different recipients and uh what we try to do is is identify some needs and uh help people and it's pretty simple And there's, how do you determine who gets help? Uh, we, we certainly have a vetting process involved.
