Marcial BooHOST
Many regulators obviously have their own spectrum of action from light touch to uh you know a phone call even uh to a regulated body to make sure they do the right thing all the way through to legal action and fines at the heavy end of the spectrum so so that's uh that's very clear and now uh monisha you imagine at the lsb have a similar methodology or a parallel methodology that you use to assess the regulators that you oversee do you want to tell us a little bit about that

Monisha ShahGUEST
We use a rather less pittily named method called the regulatory performance assessment framework, which is what it really says on the table.

Monisha ShahGUEST

Monisha ShahGUEST
And so what our framework does is designed to be proportionate, risk-based and evidence-based.
