Uh, Monica, when did The Blending House, uh, come about?

So The Blending House was an April 2021, um, concept.

It was when I was introduced to the Cotter Group, and, um, they were, they had a great concept for rickhouses, and were looking for a partner or a way into the industry, I guess.

Let me, let me start there.

Um, historically there was one rickhouse builder and there wasn't another, and they really kind of took it upon themselves to, um, study the way they had been built.

They had been remediating rickhouses for several years via their construction company, and one day they were asked to build a rickhouse for someone, and they said, "Well, we've, we've, we've got a list of 15 things that we would do differently." And, um, they hired an in-house engineer and, and completely rebuilt, so to speak, the way that they had been built before.

And a little bit of trouble breaking into the industry, and so they called me, um, just with my consulting, uh, network.
