From your knowledge on this, what are some of the early warning signs that someone is trying to control you in a relationship, particularly when it might initially look like love or concern?

Yeah, I think that this, uh, topic is really important, especially for younger women.

Us women who have gotten into our 30s and 40s and beyond have maybe experienced this, and maybe some of us can't articulate it, but we can certainly, we know the feeling when that kind of control comes up, hopefully, you know.

Um, for me, I feel like the start of that is the mood change.

I spoke about this on my social media recently around, you know, when you're in the early start- stages of being controlled, it doesn't just start with, you know, "You can't wear that.

You don't do that.

You n- you're not going to be friends with him anymore.

So my dad, when we were young, my dad just disappeared one day.
