So I'm a palliative and end-of-life care nurse, and I'm also a writer, a poet.

I write a lot about experiences of living and dying across London where I work.

It's really a great privilege and an honour to be with people as they're dying and after they've died with the families.

I used to work as a very acute nurse, you know, where it was my job very much to resuscitate people.

But now it's really just a kind of gentle waiting and watching if I'm there with somebody whilst they're dying.

So I had a baby, a beautiful baby, and then came back to work during COVID.
