“Is Jesus the only God?” Andy Bannister & Imam Ali-Hanafi
4:00
We all believe, uh, or rather, me and Dr. Andy, we believe in a god.
4:03
But the reason I want to, uh, use the word ultimate cause is to accommodate or also address those interlocutors who don't believe in a god, but they have to believe in a cause for an effect.
4:14
This is something which is a ration necessary, meaning we do believe that every effect has a cause.
4:20
So the universe that we see around us, the cosmos that we see around us, it must have a cause.
4:25
Now, who, what is this cause? Whether you call it a god, whether you call it ultimate cause, essentially we are referring to, to the same thing.
4:35
Uh, and finally, I also want to mention that from what I read of Dr. Andy's book, I think the conclusion is, and he can correct me on this, that, yes, in essence, we believe that... we, we believe in a god, but the nature and the modality of this god is, uh, significantly different, um, because of the Trinity, the doctrine of the Trinity, and because of who Jesus is.
