20:02
So [laughs] what do you make of that?
20:04
Yeah.
20:05
Yeah.
20:05
I know that's, like, a challenging place to be in in our dating landscape, where it requires vulnerability to keep showing up, putting ourselves out there and not know if we're going to be met.
20:17
And, um, what I say to that is first, like, empathy.
20:22
Like, I just have so much empathy for that experience, um, because I sit with so many daters who are feeling this vulnerability, and some of them do show up like that, as in, like, they show up like the person who is not necessarily meeting the other person, [laughs] uh, because they're afraid of what it means to really fully be seen, or they're afraid of being too much.
20:49
And so what, so after I empathize, what I really wanna say is that I know at the core of everyone's experience, um, sitting with a lot of humans over [laughs] the past decade plus, that everyone has this deep desire to belong, to, to be seen in their authenticity, to really be r- be received in love.

46:15
So what's your take?
23:10
Right.
23:11
Because ultimately they're surprising.
23:13
They, they catch you off guard.
23:15
They help you to know that the person is invested, thinking about you.
23:19
Who doesn't wanna feel that? And I also think that in our society where we're hyper-connected, sometimes we're like, "I don't know what to say.
23:27
I don't have the time to, like, go back and forth in messaging."
26:52
Yeah
26:53
... is, uh, you can look at how you feel first.
