And boy, if that was the consensus, [laughs] they were wrong because the clear number one pick, uh, came out of this draft.

It, and I, you know, going into the draft I was a huge AZ Fudd fan.

I still am.

I, I, you know, I thought she would fit perfectly with this team.

Obviously she went number one, so the Lynx couldn't even pick her at number two.

But, um, you know, if the, if it was reversed, if Olivia Myles went number one and AZ Fudd was, was there at number two, I think Minnesota picks her at number two.

And then straight up filling up, like, the scoring gap and the play making gap with, with Fe out, w- how, how have you seen maybe specifically Courtney Williams and Caitlin McBride's games change or improve next to Miles?

And it's a broken record, but just, yeah, your, your main sort of takeaway from last night's performance.

I mean, she looks like she's prime K- K Mac right now.

Like, she, she is just not, she's not slowing down.

I mean, uh, you know, as, as the season goes along and if, if she continued, she won't, but if she continues at, at these, you know, this workload and, and, and these, [laughs] these types of games night in and night out, I mean, it's gonna end up catching up to her at some point.

But, um...

And the reason I say she won't is 'cause, you know, you're gonna get Fee back eventually, and that will lighten things up for, for everybody.

But all things considered too, she's, she's doing this without, the person I just mentioned, without Fee.

I didn't feel like it was their best game, but how about you?

No, I, I agree.

I, I thought that they, they kinda lucked out to some extent.

Now, granted, the, the Lynx played great offensively.

But defensively, it, they didn't play great and, and it could have been held a lot closer if Dallas would've hit a lot of their shots, and, and I think it could have been a, an opposite outcome if Dallas would've, would've hit more of their shots.

And I wonder, too, if they, you know, when, when Phe and Dorka do come back, is it maybe a case where they, you know, they move on from Tiara McCowan and maybe target more of a, a guard? 'Cause obviously the, the signing of McCowan was because they have a need there.

That's, that's a need that they needed to fill.

Well, when you get two forwards back, it's really not a need anymore.

And, and Tiara's, you know, she's not really cracking the rotation at all right now.

So I wonder if, um, not- nothing against her, but I wonder if they move on from her and, and, um, you know, maybe kind of address that, that, that point guard spot.

And her and Nia Coffey really have both of that.

They, they came up with some big buckets, um, at different points in this game and, and as we know, Nia Coffey has, has had some big moments in, in the first three games, um, uh, this season.

I'm, I'm curious to see what'll happen when, when Phe does come back and, and even as Dorka gets back into the rotation, how things are gonna, um, you know, look with that group.

It, it makes that re-signing a lot easier I think.

What are your thoughts on those lottery teams, and am I off? Am I on?

No, I, I agree with you.

Um, we, we kinda talked when going, or talking about the two expansion teams, I know we talked about that before we started recording that-It feels like Toronto is poised for a Golden State type of season, um, in their first year.

Um, and I think that'd be, I, you know, I do agree that I think Portland's gonna, I think, have a tough year.

Um, but i- if I had to rank those two, I would obviously tr- say Toronto then Portland.

Um, that said, I mean, Toronto will still...

They're not gonna be, uh, let's be honest, they're not gonna be pushing, you know, anything serious in the playoffs if they make the playoffs.
