You know, we went one night and took her and Monkey, and they treated Cone, and she actually treated in front of them and done a good job.

Well, way back to the truck, I never will forget it.

She was winding, though.

Monkey's kind of winding a little bit, but he had that look in his eye like, no, that ain't nothing.

So he said, I'm telling you, they smell of Cone.

I said, well, I got to get up in the morning.

Yep, yep.

No.

But he got shot on the hunt, and, uh, we went to court on it, and I think the owner or the guy that shot him, he got on some posted land, which I was trying to retrieve him, and I wasn't guiding.

Another guy was.

But anyway, long story short, we went to court, and I think the guy ended up getting probation and getting a big fine for not having some kind of permit for the gun.

But, uh, it didn't end well for me.

You know, I lost a dog, but it, uh, ended up, uh, lucky, went to the '88 World Hunt, and, uh, was on the cast or helped judge the cast of, uh, Meinhardt's Tiger Lily, was in Washington, Georgia.
