How did this come about, and what does the UK economy actually sound like?

So, uh, this is a, a commission from the software company Sage, and it's a music track that, uh, both Duncan and I worked on called Financial Symphony.

There's basically two layers to it.

Both of them are based on data, um, uh, from Sage's businesses', um, anonymized data.

So the first layer is played by a string quartet, and this represents more than 11 years of UK customer data.

And then you've got an electronic layer that reflects sort of international transaction activity for one quarter, quarter one twenty twenty-six.

And there's a couple of different, different systems that we've used to actually turn that data into sound.
