Back when you and Tanya visited, how was climate change really affecting everyday lives along the coast? Because

the world is an incredibly dynamic country, very economically, it's been through a period of really strong economic growth, really turned the corner from a period of civil wars earlier in the century.

And I had the chance to visit last year in July, so in Abidjan itself, but also travelled together with Tanya to communities in the west of the country.

which earning come from fisheries, but also from plantation agriculture.

Tanya and I spoke to women who process and sell fish.

Now there's a lot of demand for fish.

So these women are, they're very organized, they're doing well economically, and they're paying children's school fees out of their earnings.
