So yes, I want to say that, um, Clark County commissioners do not raise property taxes.

Minja YanGUEST
It's a state legislature decision, and there is a cap on how much we can raise on the property tax rate.

When I talked about land value capture policy, how the county can receive additional tax revenue to support a project like this that can be used to borrow for bond financing, f- just like every major infrastructure project, I'm talking about implementing good land use to allow, to turn wasteful, empty parking lots that can turn into housing developments.

Minja YanGUEST
So we're creating additional developments on the limited amount of land that we have next to the transportation corridor, so it would generate future revenue that the county can use to do bond financing to support these infrastructure projects.
