can you tell me a little more about the PGCE training at the moment and how particularly the implications of how consumer-gen AI tools have evolved over the last six, seven months with developing software solutions and considering that as an output versus just a piece of text or an image or a video?

They say what new teachers have to be able to do and they tell us what we need to cover in our courses and in their experience out in training schools.

This is the first academic year where there has been reference to technology in those requirements since 2012.

Yeah, it must be i'm very very glad to see this but it's a tiny wee thing It's just there in terms of assistive technology for pupils with special educational needs.

This is a step forward I suspect there will be more to come with the revision to this framework in I guess about a year's time that's likely to come through So we get some freedom as to what else we do As well as part of our course.
