2:28
Yeah.
2:28
And Oregon's run game's not very good this year.
2:30
Um, anywhere from 91st to 110th depending on what analytic you're looking at.
2:34
So if they can stop them from running the ball, I don't think they're gonna be able to throw the ball, especially if their second-best wide receiver's out and best punt returner's out.
2:41
If that's the case, I think we have a low-scoring defensive battle, because as good as Oregon was offensively, they're that good defensively, I'm telling you.
6:19
[laughs]
6:20
... and put it in a different guy over there.
6:21
And so I, I, I look at it, I figure there'll be a turnover.
88:02
Mm-hmm.
88:02
He, he, you know, he said, "We're gonna go some place to win a national championship." I don't think that's Virginia Tech, but he said, "We're gonna go someplace and win a national championship." And you could see it in his face, he knew it was wrong that they were firing him at that point of the season.
88:13
But, you know, now you look back and, and you put yourself in a situation like Nebraska did after they fired Frank.
88:19
Um, I know there were a lot of people that wanted Frank, but, to stay, a lot of people that wanted him fired.
88:23
It, the situation you, you put yourself in when you, when you hired, uh, Ma- uh, Mike Riley, a guy that really wasn't ready for this kind of job at this point of his life.
88:31
So you, you put yourself in a, in a backwards position, and now you gotta figure out how much time are you gonna give Matt Campbell.
88:36
Do you give Matt Campbell the full three years that you give now to, to most coaches, or do you look up after next year and you're sit in the same situation and you have to get rid of him and start all over again? It, it's, it's a horrible spot.
92:30
... which Nebraska position group against Indiana do you feel played maybe to its highest potential compared to what you've seen through the first five games, games of the season?
5:11
Mm-hmm.
5:11
He, you know, he said, "We're gonna go some place and win a national championship." I don't think that's Virginia Tech, but he said, "We're gonna go someplace and win a national championship." And you could see in his face he knew it was wrong that they were firing him at that point of the season.
5:22
But, you know, now you look back and you, and you put yourself in a situation like Nebraska did after they fired Frank.
5:28
Um, I know there were a lot of people that wanted Frank but to stay, a lot of people that wanted him fired.
5:32
It's a situation you, you put yourself in when you, when you hired, uh, Ma- uh, Mike Riley, a, a guy that really wasn't ready for this kind of job at this point of his life.
5:39
So you, you put yourself in a, in a backwards position, and now you gotta figure out how much time are you gonna give Matt Campbell? Do you give Matt Campbell the full three years that you give now to, to most coaches, or do you look up after next year and you're sit in the same situation and you have to get rid of him and start all over again? It, it's, it's a horrible spot.
5:58
Um, I'm not a fan of anybody, right? I'm not, I don't, I don't do that.
9:39
Uh, which Nebraska position group against Indiana do you feel played maybe to its highest potential compared to what you've seen through the first five games, games of the season?
5:59
[laughs]
5:59
Just does not.
6:00
Just does not do it.
6:01
Uh, the one weakness they have is their secondary.
6:04
And the reason why it was weak, because against Northwestern, Aidan Chiles was running around like he was crazy.
6:09
And he extended plays and they made plays because of it.
6:12
But in general, when you look at them across the board, they're great at everything.
JusticePANELIST
10:14
Yep
5:25
Mm
5:26
... to that.
5:26
I'm not sure how many conversations those players are hearing in class that don't involve what's happening with basketball more than they've moved on from football.
5:35
But I can certainly see early on, I mean, you give them a chance to stay in the game, you give them an early turnover, um, an early big play.
5:45
You know, they haven't made a whole lot of big plays on the ground.
5:48
You give them a, a big run, uh, when their starter's back after being injured, then sure, I could see the momentum rallying for them.
5:57
But when you look at them o- overall as a team in Maryland and you look at where their injuries are, along with where their holes are- And the people who haven't played up to which you'd expect them to play, like that defensive line, I, I just really don't really see a way that they just line up and beat Nebraska when they're both playing equally, you know, without the turnovers and all that stuff.
9:20
Uh, are we talking enough about Nebraska's success on third down through four games? Like, look, we have enough data at this point, right, like, that it's, it's not just an anomaly no matter who you're playing, and they're top 10 in both third down offense and third down defense.
1:55
And it's supposed to, like, it brings it out for it.
1:56
When I moved to, when we moved to Texas, the whole family came.
2:00
My grandmother's there, everybody's there.
2:01
We all go.
2:02
My brother-in-law's hosting, and he makes a brisket.
2:05
And my grandmother turns to me and says, "That's the part, we should throw that part of the meat away." [laughs] We threw that away, 'cause it was just all that fat.
4:21
I felt like I had the whole parenting gamut last night, and it was just me for a, a decent stretch.
4:26
That's my youngest.
