Is that about right? In an

average 12-team league, he's going to go a bit later than that.

People are more interested in him this year because he was awesome last year.

It kind of sets that baseline, that foundation for who we're looking at.

Like Jason said, you for him to be the guy you have to you have to throw so, so many touchdowns.

And, you know, we look at a thing like touchdown percentage.

So it's the the percentage of your attempts that turn into a touchdown.

So I think I saw him, was it the 34th ranked wide receiver somewhere thereabouts? How do you see Devontae?

Why are you lower on Judkins this season? I will

say my bullet prediction also made me sad because it was kind of a blanket statement of I'm concerned about the year two running backs, which is crazy because these are some of the best bets in fantasy football when it comes to probability of a player making sense and hitting for fantasy.

But like Judkins in particular, it's just the overall the team environment.

I mean, fantasy in the basics of like when you look at the top 12 or so at the top 15 at the end of the year, most of those guys are on on really strong teams that have like high win totals.

I don't anticipate that the Cleveland Browns are going to have a very high win total, which your Browns fans, if you don't listen to our show, we are born and raised in Arizona.

We know the struggle.

We don't look down our nose upon your franchise as our franchise also sucks.

Is there any hope that Shador could develop into a starting quarterback long-term for the Browns, or are we just looking at 2027 here? It...

baked in but also now um johnny smith has been added they just traded for a blocking tight end so where do you think is the correct value for packersons if they really want to get craft um what is like you think the the earliest acceptable place where they're not reaching and they can still get that player that they like

Sure.

I'll start with Jordan Love.

I mean, before Josh Jacobs was on this team, you know, his first full season as a starter, he was awesome for fantasy.

I mean, QB5 finish, nearly 19 fantasy points a game.

Like, that's a really good year.

4,100 yards, 32 passing touchdowns, a few rushing touchdowns.

I don't want to get off to a slow start in my fantasy drafts.

I, I hear that

... he's elite, and I don't, people don't think of James Cook as elite, but you really should.

The guy has sh- he gets, he seems to just get better each and every year.

He, uh, is a perfect fit for the offense.

Yeah, Josh Allen's gonna take some rushing touchdowns away.

That hasn't stopped James Cook from piling up rushing touchdowns i- in recent memory.

As, and like maybe we get a little bit more pass...

So, you know, being patient and just taking the best players, not worrying about starting roster.

Yeah, and I'll, I'll follow up on quarterback is quarterback's the most important position in all of professional sports.

You don't have a quarterback, you do not succeed.

It's different in fantasy football where i- and a lot of new people come in like, "Well, I'm gonna, I gotta have the best quarterback." You, uh, you learn the game of how points are actually scored and how close the quarterback position can be.

So you, you'll have, like, Josh Allen will be elite as he always is, but after that, it's like y- you don't have to force it.

Yeah.

Yeah, like he's been with McVay.

He's had two incredible seasons.

[laughs]

Um, yeah, I don't, like, I have, uh, I've been the, by far the most vocal of disparaging D'Andre Swift over the course of the fantasy footballers.

I've always felt like he is a top-tier athlete, maybe not the best football player, but we did see, you know, on, uh, a couple years ago before he got the bag when he was on the Eagles, when he's on, when he has a great offensive line, he's such an athlete, he can make stuff happen.

And then goes to the Bears.

It's not, it's not necessarily the best.

But then Ben Johnson comes in and says, "We have to fix the offensive line.

Throw all the money in the world at it." Doesn't always work, but it worked for them.

Who is your fourth and final player that these knuckleheads need to be drafting higher?

You know, how much stock do you put in preseason, whether it's what you see from some of these younger guys, especially like rookies on the field, and/or like I know you're out in Arizona, Mike, a guy like Jeremiah Love has a high ankle sprain, and now they're saying, you know, they hope he's back for week one.

So i- we look for a couple different things.

The, the first, like the really the most important thing in, in my opinion, you're doing like you could do more box score hunting of like I s- I need to know who's out there.

You know? Like who's, uh, what has been the order, um, [clears throat] excuse me, of like the running backs, who's up? And then, you know, like stats are here and there.

You know, the, the, the Carson Beck Hall of Fame game, we all had a really good time 'cause he looked like the greatest player of all time.

But you know, it's like this, this won't be what he's up against, so I, I don't take a, a ton from that.

So I wanna know who's up.

Um, I'm, I'm curious, Mike, is there anybody the opposite side, while we have you here, is there anybody that you feel like is being way overvalued right now?

Yeah.

But the risk is, is higher of so...

And s- but sometimes you need to do that 'cause you're looking at your opponent and on the other side of the aisle for the fantasy, you're like, "My team doesn't have a chance.

I need someone to go nuclear or hit the turbo button here and get..." So, well, maybe I need to go with this player.

So it's that part of the, of the business is very difficult of that if, if people don't tune into the show and they just look at the binary black and white ranks, you, you...

And the fantasy football is almost entirely gray.

Like, it's rarely, it's rarely cut and dry black and white of just, this is just follow this, the steps to win.

Talk to me about Ultimate Draft Kit+, because I wanna go through a first round with you in a special way.

I'm happy for them.

And I don't care about the college sports.

So I, if you, if they get to ruining your product, I'm, I'm very sorry.

I think in the long run this is gonna be better for the NFL of, 'cause you don't have, like, the, these guys don't have to make the jump immediately, 'cause you're, you know, the, in college it's like one play, your career is just, you're done, you know? You don't get to go collect that first check from being a pro.

But as we've seen with a lot of these quarterbacks, they need more experience.

We need to stop having to spend top three picks on guys like Trey Lance and Richardson and just hope that they're gonna turn into a quarterback.

Let them stay in college, make that shmoney, and then by the time you get to the big boy league, the league that I care about, then you're a more league-ready player.
