But there are some worries that now some of these lands are open to that.

Yeah, and that's just simply not the case.

These lands will enjoy the same protections that they've had for centuries and will continue to be protected.

One, there's no oil and gas drilling that's going to happen on Bears Ears or on Grand Staircase.

There hasn't been in the past, and then there's not going to be going into the future.

And the archaeological treasures and some of those beautiful landscapes, there's also already laws that protect drilling and mining and whatever else might happen in those areas.

I think some of the things that concern us is the way the antiquities act has been abused under, uh, prisoner Obama and president Biden in, in, in, in, expanding it well beyond just protecting antiquities.

Just in general, would you like to see those lands stay federal, be moved to the state, private? I guess there's different answers for different areas, but just in general, what would you like to see happen?

So it actually, I actually committed to buy this property a few months before that.

In October of 2024 is when I committed to buy this property.

Uh, and at the time I had no idea, um, that, that, that the data center or any other type of development would be in that area.

And there's a couple things that I think are really important.

It trickles down to state politics, local politics, the economy, uh, a lot of things at play here.

It- it appears, if I understand this correctly, a court judge is basically saying, "I'm gonna draw up what these congressional districts around Salt Lake City look like." Tell us about what is going on and what action you're planning to take.

I'll tell you why, this is, what's happening here in Utah, everybody needs to be pay- pay attention to just how far the left can actually go and what the leftist judges are doing.

Well, I'll tell you, uh, it's- it's unbelievable, so let- let me start here with the Utah Constitution, Article IX.

Article IX in the Utah Constitution could not be more explicit and clear that it is the legislature's role to draw the moundaries- uh, boundaries, uh, for redistricting and to- to- to provide the map.

It is clear.

But what you had is you had the League of Women Voters, a national organization funded by Washington, DC groups and funded and- and- and had Washington, DC attorneys that are fighting this all across the country that you guys are reporting on that we're seeing, come in here into Utah, file a lawsuit claiming that the Utah legislature jerried- gerrymandered the 2021 map.

Now, each state m- each seat matters, so what is the latest? What, what recourse do you have, and I guess what are you hearing from other states? If California was a response to Texas, are other states saying, "Well, hey, if they're gonna do this in Utah, then we might have to take a look at what we're gonna do in our state"?
