It was, how would you try and put words to that purpose?
31:46
Yeah, well, there were a number of things.
31:49
One is that Māori people weren't coming into the tertiary space, and so they needed to see themselves in the space.
31:58
And so to have a place that looked like this, with other people in that community gathered around that space became a bit of a safe haven for people to be there.
32:13
But then this idea of mātauranga Māori and its contribution that it should be making to the community is that idea of like, well, Yeah, we're here, but we're not being done to.
32:26
We're engaging in the world that we live in, and so to be able to take those things that are useful for us to help us move forward into the future are very important things.
32:40
The name of this building is Te Tūmuhere Ngā Waka, so it's a hitching place for people to come together.
34:26
Hypothetical question, but if I gave you a magic wand and you could wave your magic wand and you got to set one policy for New Zealand for the next 50 years and it wouldn't be tampered with by any subsequent government, what would be the policy that you think would have the most impact to create a flourishing society?
