But what, what about Cassius Howell's different skill set was really appealing to you in terms of bringing a different approach to pass rushing than you guys have had in, in my memory at least, in, in terms of the, the kinds of moves that he likes to win with and is effective with?
3:01
Yeah, it's just the multitude of ways that he can get to the quarterback.
3:03
It's, it's his overall ability to rush the passer.
3:06
It's not just his speed, it's not just his power, it's not just his counter moves, uh, his hand use.
3:14
It's a combination of all of the above.
3:17
Um, you know, I mean, his bend, like you said, the...
3:20
You mentioned in the ghost move, which kinda lends to, to how good his bend is, turning and limiting the surface area for offensive tackles to block, dipping low and turning the corner and bending the edge.

19 MINS LATER

22:29
So why, why Kobe Young?
20:50
I, I'm not asking you to peel back the curtain all the way here and tell me all your secrets or anything like that, you know, but what, what was the biggest impact or difference with those guys coming along and fitting in so well this year and integrating into the process?
21:03
Yeah, those guys did a great job.
21:05
Um, I've mentioned them before, Sam Francis, Trey Labounty, Tyler Gross, really working well together.
21:11
They kind of all have their s- area of expertise, but they come together really at the end of the day to make our process more efficient.
21:18
Um, we've always kind of collected the information that we have, but just a, a better way maybe of displaying it in our system, making everything readily available so you don't have to click around five times to get all that information on a player's profile, and it's just all readily available right there in front of you, whether you're hovering over something or it's just displayed right there at the top of their player card.
21:40
Um, so that, that was a huge thing on top of just all of the reports and analysis that they did throughout the year and they can do at a moment's notice or, you know, just give them 25, 30 minutes and they, they can come back to you with, uh, a really detailed report, um, breaking down, you know, whatever our question that may have been that we wanted to analyze.
22:00
And then in the draft room as well, just, um, we added multiple screens this year just breaking down team needs and, and what could be coming up in, in different scenarios, different trade scenarios that they had, again, just readily available to us.
22:49
But is that part of your process? Is part of your, like, mock drafts and prep- and preparing for the real thing, is that, is that on any of those screens? Are you paying attention to all the different ideas that are out there in the world and people keeping track of all those ideas and kind of putting them all together?
35:07
And that was probably where this would land.
35:09
Yeah.
35:09
Yeah.
35:10
Well, I'm glad that I'm glad that he wanted to be a Bengal because we liked him a lot as well.
35:16
Again, I talked about, you know, Tyler Ramsey at Texas A&M.
35:19
Andrew Johnson did a great job going going to Navy this year scouting Landon.
35:24
Going back to the Pro Day later, right? Pro Day was like the first week right after the Combine.
39:08
This year, does it feel like you've built something that really can be special or is it too hard to say right now?
