Before we dive into the exciting world of geothermal, can you give us your personal story? What was that journey that really led you to co-founding Birch?

No, absolutely.

It's been a long and winding journey.

So it's been a lot of fun.

I guess it starts, I graduated high school right when 9-11 hit and was part of the cohort that went into the military and service after that happened.

So I started at the Naval Academy, served in the U.S. Navy.

And then when I discharged out, came back home to Houston and started a family.

What does that speed really mean when we're talking about geothermal timelines and what are you compressing to achieve it?
