So I don't know, Mike, what are your thoughts?
30:14
I don't wanna say we've cracked a nut on it.
30:16
I think we're getting pretty close to it.
30:18
But I think this is one of those cases where, like Laura, honestly, boring, boring work, AI is really good at it.
30:25
We can let our little robot scan everything, and then it'll start inventory and try to contextualize everything, and it is pretty good at contextualizing things.
30:32
Um, what we see with a lot of customers is The same thing.
30:38
You straight up tell them, like, "Can you tell me the software you use? You should know." And then you're like, "Oh, I didn't even know somebody's buying this software." My rule is, I think surprisingly it's worked pretty effectively, and I tell our delivery team to, like, look into it.

Yeah.
17:11
Let me tell you how you should think about your path forward.
17:15
Yeah.
17:17
The interesting part, and I think there's an interesting dynamic for that, the beauty of our industry in terms of cybersecurity and even IT, there's usually like a best practice that's pretty lined up there.
17:28
And then there's kind of like what the customer does, which is sometimes I would say, you know, worrying.
17:35
But like what we try to do is like try to hit a healthy middle.
17:38
Like so one of the biggest things that we try to calibrate on is like, what is the process or what is the behavior that we want to incentivize that actually will continue to make them do the work that's supposed to be done? I think a lot of like similar companies, different competitors that we've seen have taken shortcuts that because I think they don't have that lived experience and the operator experience to actually see what it looks like if there's like something that actually goes wrong.
18:08
And so I think it's incredibly important to have that domain expertise to calibrate it correctly.
20:15
Now we need to scale faster.
117:24
Why do they stop?
117:27
I think that it becomes a lifestyle issue.
117:29
Some of the times when you take one of the GLP-1s, a lot of people just use that only and there's no lifestyle modifications.
117:36
They see some muscle loss.
117:37
Maybe aesthetically, it's not exactly what they want to get done.
117:40
There's other side effects that they have where they malabsorb some nutrition.
117:45
That's why when we created this product, it was to really help with lifestyle modification more than it was a quick fix.
118:44
What is in it?
14:01
Do you hear that from other coaches that are, and consultants that are trying to either build these groups? Or what is other big mistakes that you hear them making?
14:12
I, I get that, and I have been absolutely at that point where I've been worried, am I doing enough? Am I providing enough value? And then over time you realize that you're being over-responsible.
14:25
And if, if you are...
14:28
I, I try to keep things really simple.
14:30
I think about it like this: if I had a client like me, the way that I treat my coaches and show up when I hire a coach, I would be really, really happy.
14:40
Like, my coaches think I'm the best student ever, you know? I, I take action on what they tell me.
14:47
They share one little strategy from six weeks ago, and I record it, and I meditate on it.

16 MINS LATER

30:43
There's, you know, but how do I know if I really wanna do that or not?
13:01
I'm curious for your thoughts.
13:04
Yeah, I think for ourselves, we obviously experimented for a few days, but we actually have our own evaluations, right? Is it gonna be, like, used right away? Like, basically it came and then went away during the evaluation phase around ourselves, [chuckles] so we couldn't roll it out.
13:22
But we do see, like, similar companies that just roll it out and then it just goes away.
13:26
But for us, to be honest, we have it on the use case for cybersecurity.
13:31
We're ex- still experimenting with them.
13:33
We're also looking at the new GPT models as well.
13:36
To be honest with you, it's great at finding novel problems, but what we see with our customers is they're still catching up on basics, honestly.

16 MINS LATER

30:12
And I'm just wondering, it's like I've now heard people saying, "We gotta track third party, fourth party, fifth party, sixth party." And I'm like, "The party's over." But I'm curious, like, how hard is this making compliance?
3:31
What are, and are there like qualifications for somebody to get started doing it or should everybody just start doing it even if they don't really have anything that they're working on in addition to that?
3:42
I think it's, I'm bullish overall.
3:46
I think it's easier than ever to start a personal brand, whatever you mean by that, whatever a person means by that.
3:54
I have my own definitions around it, but it's harder to stand out, right? If I were leaving my corporate job today, like I did 12 years ago, I would absolutely be working on the skills on building a platform, building an audience, right? you know, a lot of people say, I don't know what to sell.
4:14
That doesn't matter.
4:16
When you don't know what to sell, you need to build an audience.
4:19
Like that's a skill that you and I have figured out over these years.
4:55
this isn't just one chat she beat to came out.
19:17
What do you think has been their key or maybe what have you seen are some of the keys as you have worked with those different people that has allowed them to stay grounded, approachable, and just kind of human as they've been building their influence and becoming some of the biggest names in some of the spaces, leadership spaces and things like that you're talking about?
19:39
What I would say, honestly, is not all of them are very balanced or grounded or approachable.
19:44
And the the the umbrella over that is that it just depends what phase or season of career and life they're in.
19:53
I've met very content people who are in their 30s or 40s and they've reached that Zen period of their life.
20:01
maybe for a little while before they pick up the second thing that they're going to do or climb that second mountain of life.
20:07
And I've met leaders who are in their 70s who still think they're 25 and act like that.
20:14
They're still doing the same things.

11 MINS LATER

31:15
But is it really kind of thing? So what do you think AI can really help us do? And what can it never replace when it comes to that leadership voice that's out there?
12:19
It's sort of like the Miracle Morning thing, right? Yeah, absolutely.
12:23
And that I think for me, I like partnering with people.
12:28
I don't want to do all the heavy lifting myself.
12:31
Right.
12:32
And again, everyone's different.
12:34
But as a solopreneur, just understanding the way that I'm wired, you know, I like doing stuff with people that I really like.
12:40
I don't need to have the whole spotlight to myself.

25:29
You know, it's never a bad time.
Al DeeHOST
7:25
Yes.
7:25
And we all wanna build all these things at once.
7:28
But my whole life I've been a simplifier.
7:33
I don't like complexity, I think there's beauty in simplicity, and I remember at the time I was living near where I went to college and there was this Chinese restaurant that I loved called Noodle Gourmet.
7:46
I've mentioned them so many times, they've never given me a free meal.
7:49
But I was hanging out there while I was blogging and I saw a little sign on the side of the wa- of the, on, on the wall about the Chinese zodiac and I was like, "Oh, yeah, that's interesting.
8:00
Maybe I should adopt that approach to how I build my skills." You have the year of the horse, the year of the pig, the year of the snake.

So I guess maybe to frame this up, what is new, interesting or relevant about building a personal brand or using your personal brand to build your business today?
