How do we have so much opportunity? But on the other hand, it feels like we're facing a financial literacy crisis.
23:46
Yeah, I think it's a huge problem, and I think more people need to talk about it.
23:51
But I don't know the exact reason.
23:53
What came to mind as you're asking that question is I think we live in such a society of this instant gratification.

If you're going to check out on an online store and you're buying an $80 shirt and it's offering you to split it up into four payments – you know like it's just a weird yeah it's just a weird time that we're living in where like people need it now that they're willing to pay a little bit of interest on a t-shirt or whatever like it it's just uh it's it's a little bit of a weird time and whether whether it's social media or just social pressure whatever it is that's built a little bit more of that i think um people are just more likely to rush in to that.

11:33
That's one of the things like we've been trying to preach at Traders Edge Network because there is that misconception out there that, oh, options are really risky.
11:42
And if you were just buying like a call option, which it's kind of like buying the stock, you want the stock to go up.
11:51
if you just buy that call option, you can see some explosive returns, but there is because these option contracts have a shelf life.
11:59
They expire.
12:00
And as you get closer to expiration, the value of these options will drop off.
12:05
So there's a chunk of people who buy an option and they lose 100% of the investment.

I mean, you're still here, so...
