If the top two names aren't there, and let's say I'm drafting fifth in my order in a 10 or 12-person league, who are some of those middle-of-the-pack names I should be looking towards?
21:44
All right.
21:44
So the beginning of your draft is gonna be fairly straightforward.
21:47
As you pointed out, it's gonna be Gibbs and Robinson.
21:49
We know those will almost always be picks one and two.
21:52
Uh, Jamar Chase often is third, sometimes Christian McCaffrey in that range.
21:56
So then you start to get into a guy like Jonathan Taylor.
23:14
How do I handle what the v- proper value to assign him is, a- assign with him in the draft?
6:55
Are there any Dolphin wide receivers that you believe are draftable in 10 or 12 team fantasy leagues, and should people in dynasty leagues consider scooping up Chris Bell?
7:06
Oh yeah, dynasty I think Caleb Douglas and Chris Bell, the third round, the third round rookies, are certainly worth an investment.
7:12
I definitely took a little bit of Chris Bell.
7:14
I don't know if he'll be ready for week one after of course that ACL tear in December, but, uh, I'm hoping we see him s- at some point early in the season because he's the guy you imagine could be eventually your number one or two wide receiver.
7:25
Probably number two I would imagine.
7:27
But I mean the guy has a lot of traits that could be outstanding and, uh, naturally he fell in the draft 'cause of the injury, but there really is a lot to like there.
7:34
So, um, Bell's the guy in dynasty.

7 MINS LATER

14:31
[laughs]
31:47
Who do you really like here in round eight?
31:50
Yeah, easy call here in round eight for me.
31:52
Jackson Dart.
31:53
This is where I'm going to go quarterback.
31:55
Jaden Daniels was on my radar a couple of rounds earlier, but Dart has been my favorite value at quarterback so far this season.
32:03
Last year, I mean, I think this is kind of hard to believe if you followed the Giants and watched Dart last season, but he had eight top 10 fantasy weeks last season.
32:11
That was tied for fifth most among quarterbacks.
35:44
Just that one.
26:25
Here it is.
26:26
Yeah.
26:26
Well, I do this for all positions, but, uh, offensive line, specifically the one you're talking about, uh, yes, I, I put out kind of a depth chart, the projected starters for all the teams, and then kind of grades for each of those players based on a variety of metrics.
26:40
And I'll be honest with you, I mean, I think we all know this, offensive line is one of the hardest positions to evaluate, so you kinda have to pinpoint certain objective measurements that isn't just whatever, you know, people on, you know, on the internet kinda scream at you, like, "Uh, you're way too low on this guy, you're too high," well, uh, and you're never too high on anyone, right? You're always just too low on, on players from that team.
27:01
Um, so I'm looking at things like our pass block win rate, ESPN run block win rate, um, I think PFI- talking about PFF, I think they do a great job with, uh, grades, better than people actually realize, as someone who's utilized them for a decade now.
27:13
So, um, ki- you know, c- combining those things with, uh, you know, draft capital for young players, uh, how, how, uh, much coaches trust players, you know, if they're playing them a ton of snaps, if they're clearly starting players in the NFL for a long time, that kind of thing is factored in as well.
27:30
And when all is said and done, you kinda combine them together, uh, you know, rate, uh, you know, utilize the more important stats higher as part of the calculation, and you could come up with pretty objective rankings for offensive lines.
28:09
How big of an addition is Tyler Linderbaum? Like, I don't know if people realize how much he's really gonna help this Raiders offensive line.
12:19
This is more of like an average season for him.
12:22
Yeah.
12:22
So last year I gave the benefit of the doubt to Kevin O'Connell because of what we had seen.
12:26
That's what we talked about.
12:27
Like, okay, if they're not really going to have a backup plan and McCarthy's going to be the guy and you have a coach who is, it turns at that point, we didn't know if Sam Darnold was a product of the players around him and the coaching in Minnesota.
12:40
And he was, the wheels were going to fall off in Seattle.
12:42
Obviously that that didn't happen.

12 MINS LATER

24:20
So as you were breaking this one down, what was the thought process on a dead 50-50 split?
11:42
This is more of like an average season for him.
11:45
Yeah, so last year I gave the benefit of the doubt to Kevin O'Connell because [laughs] of what we had seen.
11:49
That's what we talked about.
11:50
Like, okay, if they're not really gonna have a backup plan and McCarthy's going to be the guy, and you have a coach who is...
11:57
It turned Sa- at that point we didn't know if Sam Darnold was a product of the, the players around him and the coaching in Minnesota, and he w- the wheels were gonna fall off in Seattle.
12:05
Obviously, that, that didn't happen.
12:07
I mean, you can credit O'Connell for some of that or a lot of that, getting his game to the next level.

12 MINS LATER

24:00
So as you were breaking this one down, what was the thought process on a dead 50/50 split?
22:19
[laughs]
22:19
So I'll go into the numbers here.
22:20
And I'm gonna actually apply this to both Tyson and Tate because, uh, sometimes with, like putting projections together and expectations, certainly in year one, you wanna look at a little bit of historical context, and I just did that, of course, with Jeremiah Love.
22:32
But I also looked at wide receivers picked in the top 10, because sometimes we see, whereas like it's all running backs that are picked that early seem to get huge volume and produce, it's not always as consistent with wide receivers.
22:43
But it is for guys picked in the top 10.
22:45
I look back at, since 2012, so a little over the past decade, 13 receivers picked in the top 10-

14 MINS LATER

36:54
Kenan Sadiq.
36:54
I took the two running backs, Jonah Coleman, Mike Washington.
