Yeah.

I've seen some of those same graphics that MLB has put out, and that's exactly right.

I think over half of our 26-man roster is homegrown, meaning we got them in the draft or the international, uh, free agent signings, you know, the amateur free agent signings that we get.

I think it tells you how we have to do things, right? We know what the economic system is, but our goal's the same as the 30 other-- as the 29 other teams, is to win a World Series.

So we don't make excuses about the economic system.

We just have to find different ways to build a team, and that means we have to do it through the, through the pipeline of our own player development system and scouting system.

And a huge credit to those groups.

Your thoughts on this team and what they did down the stretch to get here tonight.

You're right.

The trade deadline ended up having a huge impact.

We knew going into the season that we had a really young team and we wanted to let that play out.

We wanted to see the young guys have a real runway and chance to compete.

We saw that this was a team that we felt like had a shot to get into the postseason and we tried to find ways to complement the team and obviously it's worked out.

So it's great to see this.

How quickly do you turn it and start to think about, all right, now what about the division and planning ahead?

I wouldn't ever put anything past Hosey.

I mean, this is a guy who we met with him pre-draft, uh, before we took him 1-1.

I, I've never met a player in my 23 years here with this type of mindset.

I mean, this guy is so focused on improvement and being the, get- getting the most out of his ability he possibly can.

Um, and he showed that every step of the way.

If I saw it from other organizations, but how did you guys deal with that? Because it's really tough for you guys to go that far outside of something that you normally aren't doing.
