I hated it because they dumped them.

They never really and you could say I've, I've had this debate going back and forth with Lee fans and other reporters.

And I think that they never really gave Nick Robertson the opportunity to play in a position where his skill set fit the best, which was a top six role.

now as a third liner he's an ill fit because he's smaller and he's not particularly good defensively but you can accept that from somebody who plays in a top six role because you're going to get offense from that player um they never felt comfortable through and you know okay it's through sheldon keith through craig berube and i'm sure jim hiller had a had some input on whether he could work with him or whether um now remember he's a restricted free agent so he would have required uh a new contract he's two two years away from unrestricted free agency and after the fact he scored 15 goals a year the last average of that the last three years he's probably going to get three three and a half million dollars based on the way that the salaries are escalating so they got a fourth round pick and i mean and watch He's going to Pittsburgh.

He's going to the GM and the director of amateur scouting who drafted him in 2019.
