But

one of the concepts I talked about here is it's not about you.

Like when we came on to this podcast show, everybody listening did not go, oh, I I hope Mike and Mitch are doing OK today.

You know what? I hope that that they've had a great day and that they're really doing wildlife now everybody listening the moment i say that you're like oh yeah well i hope they are i mean i hope that he's not saying something's bad but your your your listeners your audience are tuning in because they like mitch they like the they like the interviews they like the ideas they like what mitch is putting out there for them so it's all about them and that's that's okay likewise no one's thinking about you when you get up and speak They're thinking about them.

So if you entertain them, if you inspire them, if you motivate them, if you educate them, if you further their goals, they don't care what you look like, how you sound, how whatever, if you can help them, they like you.

But we often get caught up.

Like I think about it like this.

How did that translate in terms of communication into you had to learn a whole new language? Did you still have the speech impediment then? What was that like?

Yeah, so as a kid, I don't remember a lot of this, but I couldn't pronounce the sound ja.

And there was a couple other words.

In fact, it's interesting.

Even when I say the words shoulder and I say soldier, those two words in my mind I have to think about even at 40-something years old.

It's 46 years old.

I'm still thinking about it 40 years later.

What do I say?

Mm-hmm.

A- and I had just put together a program beyond just taking a walk in public speaking.

So I think he was the first or second person who joined my one-on-one coaching program where I take people through a curriculum, one-on-one coaching, and A to Z.

And, and the effects were so crazy amazing that his speaking went down from a 10 down to a two.

Organizations that he had not joined because of fear, he started speaking at and joining.

He started representing places like Make-A-Wish Foundation and other things because now he didn't have that fear.

So I, I reached out to him a couple years later.

Um, i- is that the same thing as somebody finding their voice?

And I know you're right about that, man, but you're painting, man, that sounds like heavenly brother.

I mean, it was, it was, I really enjoyed it.

And sometimes I would have two, maybe three on it.

And then not when I was driving a motorcycle though.

And so moving on, life, things get, I get married right around the age of 30 and we take on a different church.

That church starts growing, doing some really cool stuff.

I'm still in contact with that church.
