How did you go about responding to that? And did you speak to any clubs after the national draft that kind of gave you an indication of pre-season draft interest?

Yeah, I think just coming off an injury prone year where I was back to back injuries, I didn't have any expectations leading into the draft.

I knew that if I was to get picked up, I would be probably a bit shocked knowing how many games I played and what performance I was able to give out at that time.

But I think just having the right mindset leading into the next season, I worked really hard to get back into good form and I also worked on my leadership skills going back out to centrals.

I was named the emerging leader, which is something that I think is like what I like to base my game around having that voice and bringing that energy.

So I think just like working on my strength and just also seeking a lot of feedback, knowing that footy is something I have loved my whole life and something I've aspired to do since I was little.

So just going back out there, starting fresh, starting a new position and just giving it everything I can.
