So i- is that the problem, they're being scapegoated? Or i- is it, is it, is there more damage that happens when women encounter this glass cliff? And then beyond that, when men such as Chris Bradley or whoever deny that it even exists.

Yeah.

I mean, I think there's a number of issues to do with the glass cliff.

So I mean, the idea is that women are disproportionately represented in risky and precarious leadership positions, so they're much more likely to be in those sorts of roles.

Now, we know that that can be a form of scapegoating, so if we're putting women into these positions, it could be setting them up for failure.

Uh, we know that it's more difficult to lead in times of crisis than when all's going well, so, so the chances of failure, they're not inevitable, so failure is not inevitable, but the chances are higher.

It's more difficult.

Or is it not nefarious? Is it something else entirely?

What is your take on this?

Um, it is extremely frustrating.

Um, and I suppose it leaves us all kind of wondering where we're really at, and was this whole process a bit hopeless in a sense.

And I understand that text that you read out there about feeling like a, a second-class citizen.

There was huge joy a few years ago all around the country in clubs and counties where female players felt like there was a bit of progress going to be made here.

Um, and today everyone is left questioning, well, okay, was that just a token gesture? And, and that's the real issue here.

Yeah.

So what's some simple things that people might be able to do to protect their waterway? What's just some simple steps?

Oh, really easy.

So if you are out enjoying the environment, uh, a huge impact on platypus, uh, uh, entrapment from litter.

So things like hair ties, fishing line can have a really huge impact on platypus and can cause death.

We've, uh, as part of CAT, uh, CATS research, we have been collecting deceased platypus.

So if a platypus was found dead throughout New South Wales, we get a call and we will go and collect it.

A lot of those are from entanglements from fishing line, which is a really huge, uh, problem.

But if they, if someone s- did spot one, they were down, you know, enjoying, um, some time with nature, and they spotted one, is there anything that they should do or report to?

So who are you calling it for in the senior game today?

You know what? It's a tough one.

And actually, most people I'm talking to in the last week have been tipping Galway, even though Kerry are the All-Ireland champions of two years ago.

It was the same contest two years ago, Kerry versus Galway.

It wasn't quite the competitive match that people were expecting at the time.

The writing was on the wall at halftime that Kerry were ahead.

And after 45 minutes, they got a second goal and that kind of put an end to the contest.

So nature nurture is one of the key things that we really sort of think about.

So are gender differences, for example, innate or are they learnt? So half my bread and butter is nature nurture debate.

So I think in this novel it's really fascinating.
