... accompaniment that comes back to you and shimmers to you in moments that matter, um, or in retrospect, right? And, like, there's a synergy between that, and ideally those would align into a kind of present, ongoing, everyday living.

Um, with the practical act of writing, I do feel that, like, um, even though writing is, or books even, they are sort of this fossil of a time and a period, right? Any time anyone writes anything, it inevitably becomes a thing that has passed, right? It is the past.

It is history.

Um, but I do think that there is a livingness to the written word, and what I mean by that is, like, when I think of my own writing process, it's, it's sort of like you're mapping, you're mapping a figuring out.

You're, like, trying to figure it out.

I don't care if you're writing, like, an academic paper.
