And so let's talk about those nasty mosquitoes and why you started the Itty Bitty Mosquito Population Committee.

Oh, well, I mean, this is a battle a few years in the making.

I wanna say it was about four or five years ago, they started to get exceptionally bad in our yard.

Um, and I'm, I haven't actually dug into why, but each year I've tried to do more and more.

We've been building out the di- biodiversity of our yard, and I have seen a lot more birds and wildlife and bugs and trying to get more predators coming in.

I got buckets of doom set up, and I saw some really great success with that for, you know, April and May and early June months in the first two years that I was doing it.

But then come late June, the mo- the mosquito population just exploded, and it overwhelmed all my traps, and it, it no longer mattered much, um, at least for my lived experience.
