So Fort Drum, New York, what did life as a military spouse look like in Fort Drum, New York?

It really shaped my opinion of being a military spouse in a negative way when I was up there, to be honest.

So it really didn't set me up for success.

There really wasn't community up there.

We didn't live on base.

I really was out of touch with the military community.

Most of my friends were actually civilians that I made through like the gym and work and everything like that.

What helped? Was there any nugget of info you got? Any connections to help you go forward with this amazing nonprofit?
