So to start with, Michelle, if you could tell us a little bit about the Supported Employment Program, kind of maybe the history of it, where it got started and what it does today.

Michelle IzbickiGUEST
So the Supported Employment Program started a long, long time ago in Pennsylvania.

Michelle IzbickiGUEST
Pennsylvania is an employment first state, meaning that our goal is to get everybody in the community working.

Michelle IzbickiGUEST
Barbara has served as a provider for many years, and our goal is to kind of get people out in the community and working.

Michelle IzbickiGUEST
So what we do is we do things like community-based work instructions and assessments that basically determine what it is that the individual wants to do.

Michelle IzbickiGUEST
If you want a job in the community, we can take you out and do three assessments to see whether or not those types of jobs are something that you're interested in and whether or not like the stamina of that job is something that you could do.

So for an employer who's curious, what are the first steps they should take to start exploring a partnership with a supported employment program?
